Austria’s Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK)will invest €135 million in solar systems. The funding will support solar systems with capacities ranging from 35 kW to 1 MW. solar systems below 35 kW are not eligible for this program, as they have been VAT exempt since January. This funding, according to the country's Renewable Expansion Act (EAG), targets companies aiming for energy independence. The funds will be allocated through a tender process, with bidding windows open from April 15th to April 29th, June 12th to June 16th, and October 7th to 21st.
