An international team of researchers has developed a new type of double-layer anti-reflective hydrophobic coating that significantly enhances the transparency of glass and has been successfully applied to the glass surface using the sol-gel process. This technology is particularly suitable for solar panels, as it can improve their photovoltaic conversion efficiency. The research team achieved a 7% increase in transmittance at a wavelength of 550 nanometers and created a high water contact angle of 102° by precisely controlling the refractive index and thickness of the coating, demonstrating excellent hydrophobic properties.
After two years of exposure to environmental conditions, the coating still maintains high adhesion and high transmittance, proving its excellent durability. This innovative coating technology has a broad application prospect in the field of solar energy.
Zomwell Energy continues to stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry and is committed to continuously updating its product offerings based on these advancements. Our dedication to innovation ensures that we provide our customers with cutting-edge, high-performance solar energy storage solutions, including solar panels, inverters, and energy storage batteries.
